On all 2-Story models, you choose stair placement and a full second floor or loft, same price. This cabin is shown with standard walls, standard 4" porch posts, and standard steps up to 2nd floor. You choose stair placement. You could add a low landing for a minor fee. Pictures show upgraded 3/4" tongue & groove subfloor, porch steps, and a couple extra window installs; these items not standard. 28 x 32 2-Story Gable with 8 x 32 Porch

This customer made some alterations to make it their own. Some changes they had us do: close-in one porch along the 50' length, add some shed-style dormers (roof of dormer dropped down from peak), upgrade to 6x6" porch posts, upgrade to 16" on center walls and rafters, 9' sidewall on first floor, spanned with an LVL for 20' between the cabin portion and closed-in porch, upgraded 3/4" tongue and groove subfloor, fascia metal, among other changes. Some pictures shown with customer completed extras, such as gutters, storm door installs, decorative Y bracing, interior wall divisions, etc.

Hopefully the examples on this page give you a good understanding of what we can do! These are just what previous customers have decided to have us build; we can build ANY size up to 30 feet WIDE and as LONG as you want with any number of porches, including wraparound and closed-in. We can add garages to any of our cabins and shed-style dormers to either of our 2-Story models. If you like the steeper porch roof pictured in the photos of this cabin, be sure to mention it! As a standard now, our porch roofs are less steep than this one. The porch roofs shown in most of our OTHER cabin pictures on this Gable page and our Gambrel page would come standard, but we can switch to a steeper roof pitch on the porches for no extra charge if you'd rather.
The dormer shown on this cabin is the "dropped-down" style, meaning that the roof of the dormer starts dropped down from the peak. We also can do dormers where the roof of the dormer begins right at the peak of the cabin. Our dormers on the gable cabins have a standard 8' sidewall. They can be built at any length, typically an even number of feet long and inset from the corners of the cabin an even number of feet. If there is no porch below the dormer, you choose if you want the eave to continue across the cabin at the base of the dormer or not. These folks did not have us continue an eave below the dormer.

As is with all of our listed prices, cabins come built to our standard cabin specifications. These folks chose to add a 32' Dormer from the Peak; priced separately. We can do them any number of feet long and inset them from the corner of the cabin any number of feet, typically even #'s. Stairs shown at left are no longer our standard steps. For an example of the stairs included in our premium cabins, look at some of the other cabin pictures. Also, porch roof pitch is less steep than these pictures now as a standard. We can do this steeper pitch for the porch if you'd rather! Just let us know! The fascia board shown on this cabin was a 2x4, which is now been upgraded to a 2x6 as a standard now that is included.

Another one of a kind SweetCabin! This customer chose to get a 24x28 Gable with a 10x14 Porch Roof and a 10x14 Closed-in Porch. Notice the concrete floor in both of the porches. They customer had this done prior to our arrival as part of their foundation. Just figure up the cabin size and the porches that'll work for you and call for a quote!
